NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH Ttlegnms : NATINMED. LONDON, N.W .7. MILL HILL. Telephone: 01 -959 3666 LONDON. N.W.7. 9th January, 1970. Dear Hardy, Thank you for your communications. Unless anything drastic hapP.ens I shall be attending the Council meeting in Switzerland on September 2nd. I think that it would be very nice to have the various countries which are in the process of forming immunological societies represented by observers at our next Council meeting. Regarding your notes on lUIS: The paragraph about the International Congress of Immunology hardly reflects the actual events. It was certainly my impression that many of the representatives were rather dubious of the need for an International Congress of Immunology, but since the Americans were already organizing one, decided to support the venture. I therefore feel that this particular paragraph should be rephrased in the future. Dr. B. Cinader, Univ . of Toronto Best regards, Dept. of Medical Cell Biology Rooms 4360::.4368 Medical Sciences Bld. Toronto. 181. Ontario. B.A. Askonas
