Welcome and opening remarks Prof. Zinkernagel opens the meeting, welcomes all council members and EXCO members and thanks the Chinese Society for Immunology for the excellent local organisation. 2. Minutes of the 48th, the 49th council meeting and of the 12th IUIS General Assembly meeting All agree with the text and the contents of the reports. 3. Presidents report In the past 8 months 3 major issues were addressed: a. Reshuffling and reorganisation of the education- and clinical immunology committees. Details about these committees will be discussed later in this council meeting. b. The 13th ICI meeting in Rio 2007. There are two matters that will be addressed in the coming weeks and months. These concern the registration fees and the scientific programme. In June 2005 the discussions on the scientific programme will be concluded during a meeting of Prof. Zinkernagel to Rio.
