Gerlinde Jahn from the Vienna IUIS office was also unable to attend, but had
sent her regards and remained reachable via e-mail.

AGENDA
1. Welcome and arrangement of the new council
Stefan Kaufmann, the President of IUIS, welcomed members of the IUIS Council and other
participants and thanked all parties for the reports they had provided and for work that they
had done.
2. Approval of the minutes of the 56th and 57th council meetings, Kobe, Japan
The minutes were approved. Olivera Finn informed that the Career Committee
had wanted to change its name into “Gender Equality and Career Committee”.
The new name was approved.
